Saarthi GreenTech Knox Systems are designed as retrofit products that can be installed on a vehicle. The specific positioning is crucial and can be placed either behind the driver’s seat, between the vehicle body and cabin, behind the cabin, or on the rails of the vehicle. The fitting position must adhere to the system’s unique design, with water pipes and openings that need to be fitted in one particular way. Exact place on a vehicle for fitment is subject to OEM approval and owner’s willingness. Our product does not interfere with the vehicle machinery and only uses power from vehicle battery and introduces gas pipe on air intake pipe.

No, Saarthi GreenTech systems require very minimal intrusion into the vehicle system, only to introduce hydrogen. The installation process involves fitting a single pipe carrying hydrogen from the system to the air intake pipe at an appropriate location. In addition, the electrical wiring involves power cables from the vehicle’s battery / alternator. Therefore, our systems make no permanent changes to the original vehicle, and they can be removed at any time without affecting the vehicle’s systems. Moreover, if the driver shuts down the system, the vehicle continues to operate without any issue sand the fuel and emission savings that will get along with this system.

Saarthi GreenTech Hydrogen Fuel Systems, specifically the SGT248 model, is designed to be versatile and adaptable to a wide range of engine types and sizes. The SGT248 can be employed for any vehicle or static engine application running on Diesel, Bio-Diesel, Petrol, or Natural Gas, although it is particularly designed for Diesel engines. Our variants for Petrol and gas engines are under development.

Our systems are particularly effective for engines ranging from 2.5 liters to 8 liters in capacity, which encompasses the majority of highway vehicles. While our systems are over-designed for smaller vehicles like taxis, we’re currently developing solutions tailored to these smaller engines.

For larger applications such as earthmovers and large generator sets, multiple SGT248 systems can be used in parallel to achieve the desired benefits. However, for these larger applications, we recommend conducting tests to accurately determine the system’s efficiency.

Our SGT248 prototype system has been tested on a 7.2-liter engine truck and showed remarkable results, delivering fuel savings of 32% and a net CO2 reduction of over 55%.
